Description
Drag Load in Lbs
Total drag load in pounds to be applied to the current truss.
Drag Load in Lbs for Shear Panels
Shear panel-specific drag load when SP command is used on the TC profile line.
Drag Load in Plf
Specify the drag load in plf (pounds per linear foot) to be applied to the current truss.
Drag Load in Plf for Shear Panels
Shear panel-specific drag load
Snow factor
Snow load to be included. Typically this is 0, but check with your local building department.
Live Factor - Canada only
Live load factor (only applies to Canadian customers)
Continuous brg?
True automatically place a continuous bearing under the truss. This is not the same as a shear wall, but works in conjunction with shear walls.
Shear Panel?
Set to False so that the Shear Panel feature is not activated. When unchecked, Truss Studio adds drag load combinations as well as all other required load combinations.
Shear Panel Side Supported?
Define shear panels as side supported, to minimize reactions at the bottom. The reaction is spread along the end verticals to simulate connections to a vertical in the trusses on either side, as noted on the engineering..
Concurrent Anchor Loads?
Set to False so that the Anchor Loads are Concurrent with Drag Load feature is not activated
